MOMS Club of Arvada is a registered chapter of the International MOMS Club, which has chapters around the world. International MOMS Club was established in 1983 as a support group for at-home mothers. There are 2,100+ chapters in the U.S. and over 100,000 members, worldwide. You can find out more at www.momsclub.org.
We have no political or religious affiliations.
Our chapter is run entirely by volunteers. The club is member-driven but led by a board of elected members who donate their time to make sure the club runs smoothly. The board includes five volunteer positions: President, Administrative Vice President, Membership Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Every month, our chapter meets for a business meeting, where members discuss club business and vote to approve things such as the monthly events calendar, annual budget, expenditures, and our chapter’s service projects.
MOMS Club chapters focus on daytime hours when at-home mothers need support the most. Because of this, we do not have evening or weekend playdates scheduled on our calendar.
However, we are entirely member-led! As we grow, if someone in our membership is passionate about organizing and hosting a monthly "Moms' Night Out" or occasional family weekend meetups, we would be thrilled to facilitate and support you in making those happen.
To join, simply navigate to our Join Us page and submit our 1-minute Interest Form! We will check that we are the correct chapter for you and email you back.
After you attend a couple of trial meetups and decide it's a great fit, we'll collect the annual dues, finalize your registration form, and add you to our private communication group.
No! We are supportive of ALL at-home moms, including those who work part-time, run home businesses, or have creative, flexible freelance arrangements. Because our focus is on providing a "daytime village" to support moms when they need it most, our calendar activities are scheduled during daytime hours on weekdays. If your schedule allows you to be home with your kids during weekdays, you are welcome to join us!
Our annual dues are $25.00. Because we are a registered non-profit, these dues are strictly used to keep our chapter running. They cover our International MOMS Club registration fees, administrative costs, and local service projects that give back to the community.
MOMS Club® International enforces geographical boundaries so that chapters stay small, manageable, and highly community-focused. This ensures that playdates take place within a short driving distance for all participants, allowing you to build relationships with moms who are genuinely your neighbors.
Our specific chapter boundaries cover the area: Arvada North of 48th Ave, East of Ward Rd, West of Federal Blvd, and South of 88th Ave, plus the communities of Leyden, Candelas, and Five Parks. You can check out a map on our Join Us page.
If you fall outside our boundaries, don't worry! Fill out the Chapter Inquiry form and an International MOMS Club Coordinator will contact you.
Children are welcome and encouraged at all of our activities, including our monthly member meeting. Our events are structured for moms to attend while also caring for their children.
No. You can attend as few or as many events that fit your schedule. The more you attend, the more you will get to know other members and get more out of MOMS Club.
The majority of our monthly activities are free. Occasionally we will have an activity on the calendar that costs money, but we understand the financial sacrifice that being an at-home mom can mean for your family, so we try to keep activities that cost money to a minimum.
